The Wet Brush can be used on both wet and dry hair.
The first time I used The Wet Brush was on wet hair. I had just stepped out of the shower. I cautiously stroked the brush through my hair worried that I would hit a snag and ripe out a wad of hair.
To my surprise I was able to comb my hair with The West Brush. I did get a couple of tangles but I was able to gently get the apart.
I have continued to use The Wet Brush every time I get out of the shower. For the most part I am able to brush my hair with no problem except or the occasional knot or tangle. I get the same when I use a wide tooth comb.
I have used the brush on both wet and dry hair. I prefer using it on wet hair. I find that when I use it when my hair is dry it makes my hair look “poofy” (for lack of a better description), especially around the ends. When I use it on dry hair I find that I need to use some kind of a product on my hair to smooth it out. I don’t have to do that when I comb my hair.
